5 Teams Receive Nueca Senior Project Fund 📚

Grantees with NSPF Director, Claire Bertumen and representatives

Doing senior projects is exciting and challenging but can be sometimes costly, depending on the idea being pursued. I guess everyone at Nueca experienced this especially during the final months leading up to college graduation.

Last November 2022, we launched the Nueca Senior Project Fund (NSPF) with the Ateneo de Naga University College of Computer Studies and this week we awarded the support to the 5 teams that qualified:

  1. “CodeC” by Jobb Rodriguez, George Sison & Sukhraj Takhar;

  2. “HashFlow” by Joshua Auxilio, Patrick Cada & John Villarez;

  3. “DigiHydro” by Patrick Bajamunde, James Luna & David Fermo;

  4. “Gaido” by Colt Herras, Roummel Olano & Leobert Teodoro; and

  5. “Handwritten Text Recognition” by El Jon Bartolome & Maximillian Principe.

We look forward to partnering with more colleges and universities in the Bicol Region to make the NSPF accessible to their engineering and technology students in need.

Congratulations! 🚀 And may you successfully finish your projects for graduation! 🎓
